Your privacy matters to us. This Policy explains what personal data Titan Council collects, why we collect it, how it is stored and protected, and what rights you have. We have written it in plain language — no unnecessary legalese.

Who We Are

Titan Council (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Titan Council platform at titancouncil.app — an AI-powered coaching and accountability service. We are the data controller responsible for your personal information.

What Data We Collect

Account Information

  • Your name and email address when you register
  • Password (stored in encrypted form — we never see your plain-text password)
  • Profile preferences including your chosen Titan mentor and onboarding responses

Coaching & Activity Data

  • Goals, milestones, and progress you record on the Platform
  • Journal entries, morning and evening debrief responses
  • Messages and conversations with Titan AI personas
  • Check-in history, streaks, and habit tracking data

Payment Information

  • Billing name, email address, and country associated with your subscription
  • Subscription plan and billing history

We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank details. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe. See Section 6 for full details.

Technical Data

  • IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Pages visited, features used, and session duration
  • Error logs and performance diagnostics

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data only for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account
  • To deliver personalised AI coaching through your chosen Titan persona
  • To track your goals, habits, and progress over time
  • To process your subscription and manage billing through Stripe
  • To send transactional emails such as account confirmations and billing receipts
  • To improve the Platform based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns
  • To investigate and resolve technical issues or support requests
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to any third party under any circumstances.

Third-Party Services

To deliver the Platform, we share certain data with the following trusted third-party providers. Each is bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

SupabaseDatabase & Authentication

Your account information, goals, journal entries, coaching conversations, and all Platform data are stored securely in Supabase. Supabase provides our database infrastructure and handles authentication. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

AnthropicAI Coaching Engine

Messages you send to Titan AI personas are transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic processes these messages in real time. We do not send your name, email, or payment information to Anthropic — only the content of your coaching conversations.

VercelHosting & Deployment

The Titan Council application is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel processes request data (including IP addresses) as part of standard web hosting operations.

AI Conversations & Coaching Data

Your conversations with Titan AI personas are a core part of the service. Here is how that data is handled:

  • Conversation messages are transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses in real time
  • We store your conversation history in our database so your Titan can provide contextual, ongoing coaching
  • We do not use your individual coaching conversations to train AI models
  • Anthropic's data handling is governed by their usage policies — we encourage you to review these at anthropic.com
  • You can delete your conversation history at any time from your account settings

Please be mindful that any sensitive personal information you share in coaching conversations is transmitted to Anthropic. We recommend not sharing highly sensitive information such as financial account details, government identification numbers, or medical records in coaching chats.

Stripe & Payment Processing

Titan Council uses Stripe to process all subscription payments. Stripe is a global payments platform trusted by millions of businesses worldwide and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 — the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

What Stripe Collects

When you subscribe to Titan Council, Stripe collects and stores:

  • Your full payment card details (card number, expiry, CVV)
  • Billing name and email address
  • Billing address and country
  • Transaction history associated with your subscription

What We See

Titan Council only receives a limited, tokenised summary from Stripe. We can see:

  • The last four digits of your card and card brand (e.g. Visa ending 4242)
  • Your subscription status and billing dates
  • Whether a payment succeeded or failed

We never have access to your full card number, CVV, or complete card data at any point. This information goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on Titan Council servers.

How Stripe Uses Your Data

  • To process subscription charges on your billing date
  • To handle failed payment retries and subscription management
  • To provide fraud detection and security monitoring
  • To comply with financial regulations and anti-money laundering requirements

Stripe may also use your data for its own purposes in accordance with its privacy policy. We encourage you to review Stripe’s Privacy Policy and Stripe’s Consumer Terms.

Subscription Management

You can update your payment method, view billing history, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

  • Your profile, goals, journal entries, and coaching conversations will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial and tax obligations
  • Anonymised, aggregated usage data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us at support@titancouncil.ai.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — you can request that we delete your personal data
  • Portability — you can request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — you can object to certain types of processing
  • Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time

Cookies & Tracking

Titan Council uses minimal cookies necessary for the Platform to function, including session authentication tokens managed by Supabase. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Platform is used in aggregate. Any analytics tools we use are configured to anonymise IP addresses and not to track users across other websites.

Children's Privacy

Titan Council is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use the Platform, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously. Our measures include:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS
  • Data at rest is encrypted by Supabase
  • Row-level security policies restrict database access to authorised users only
  • API keys and secrets are never exposed client-side
  • Regular security reviews of our infrastructure and dependencies

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notification before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
